This menu design is my twist on a traditional Irish pub. I was raised in a large Irish Catholic family so it only felt right to create a restaurant that was inspired by that. I approached this design by looking into other Irish Pubs that are currently in business. Once I did research I knew how i wanted to approach this design and went right into my sketchbook. The menu could not be the exact same as others, which provided me with some constraints. I wanted traditional Irish meals that I ate being from an Irish family, but I wanted them to be a little different and more Americanized. The menu needed to be adapted so that it wasn’t just a pub for people over 21, I also wanted it to be family-friendly, which meant adding a Kid’s Menu.
